Sansevieria

Snake Plant, commonly known as Mother-in-law's Tongue, belongs to the Asparagaceae family. Originating from tropical West Africa, it is a popular indoor plant due to its ability to thrive in low light conditions and its air-purifying qualities. The plant has long, upright leaves that are dark green with light green horizontal stripes. It's known for being a hardy, low-maintenance plant.

Difficulty: Easy to Maintain.

Light: Snake plants can tolerate low light but prefer indirect, bright light for optimal growth.

Temperature: 15°C to 29°C.

Watering: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Fertilizer: 1. Seaweed liquid for quick result, use weekly/fortnightly

                  2. Seaweed Granules/Alfalfa are slow release fertilizer, Can be added once a month or once in two months.

Propagation: Can be propagated by leaf cuttings or by dividing the rhizomes (underground stems) during repotting.
