Monstera Peru, also known as Monstera karstenianum, belongs to the Araceae family and originates from tropical regions of Central and South America. This unique plant is known for its thick, textured, and glossy green leaves with deep ridges, making it an exotic addition to any indoor space. Unlike other Monstera varieties, it doesn't develop fenestrations (holes) in its leaves.
What kind of light does it need? Bright, indirect light. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
How often should I water it? Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings.
What temperature is ideal? 18°C - 27°C (65°F - 80°F).
Does it need humidity? Prefers moderate to high humidity. Mist occasionally or use a humidifier if needed.
