Adenium - Desert Rose

Adenium is a flowering succulent from East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, prized for its vibrant blooms and thick, water-storing stem. Often grown as an ornamental plant or bonsai, its unique shape and colorful flowers make it a popular choice for gardens and homes.

  • How much light does my Adenium need? At least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day.

  • How often should I water it? Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings.

  • What temperature is best? 25°C to 35°C.

  • How do I fertilize it? Use seaweed liquid weekly/fortnightly or seaweed granules/alfalfa monthly/bi-monthly.

  • Why are the leaves turning yellow and falling off? Overwatering is a common cause. Ensure good drainage and let the soil dry out.

  • How do I encourage more blooms? Plenty of sunlight and regular fertilization during the growing season.
